Call +1-866-805-8548 and describe what your system is doing — the symptoms help us send a tech prepared with the right parts.
A licensed technician arrives, runs a full diagnostic, and explains exactly what's wrong in plain language.
If anything feels off after we leave, a follow-up call gets a technician back out to make it right.
Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. Every technician we send to your door is background-checked, factory-trained, and licensed to work on the systems installed throughout Berwyn, IL.
We're not the biggest name in Berwyn — we're the crew that answers the phone at 2am when your furnace quits in the middle of a cold snap. Every job we run is backed by full liability coverage and current state licensing, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, big or small.
Berwyn's climate swings hard, and generic national playbooks don't always fit. That local knowledge shapes the maintenance schedules we recommend — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Ask around Berwyn and you'll hear the same complaint about a lot of HVAC companies. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. Every dispatcher, every technician, and every follow-up call is held to the same standard, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Berwyn is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
When you call +1-866-805-8548, you're talking to someone who understands the local permitting process, the common equipment brands installed in Berwyn homes, and realistic scheduling given local demand. Our warranty and service history records stay attached to your address, so any future technician who visits already has the full picture.
Every service below is backed by the same licensing, warranty, and upfront pricing you get on any job we run.
When your Heat Pump Repair system fails without warning, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Our Berwyn dispatch team moves emergency tickets to the front of the schedule so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
We keep the truck stocked with the parts that fail most often on the equipment common to Berwyn homes, which is exactly why most repairs don't require a return visit.
An aging system that's constantly breaking down usually costs more to keep patching than to replace. We walk Berwyn homeowners through financing and rebate options where available before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
We protect floors and entryways during the install and haul away the old equipment so you're not left dealing with disposal.
A retail floor, a restaurant kitchen, or an office suite can't run without stable climate control. Our commercial division services rooftop units and package systems across Berwyn, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
Our commercial techs are trained to work around your customers and staff, scheduling noisy or disruptive work outside peak hours whenever possible.
Preventive maintenance is the cheapest repair you'll ever pay for, because it's the one that prevents the bigger bill. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for Berwyn households that want more than just temperature control.
We'll show you photos of anything concerning we find, along with a plain-language explanation of what it means and whether it's urgent.
This is the standard every Berwyn technician on our team is held to.
Details vary by job type and are always shared upfront, never buried in fine print.
We quote a flat rate before work begins and that number doesn't change once you approve it.

Most breakdowns don't happen without warning — they announce themselves for weeks before the system actually quits.
A healthy system runs with a consistent, low hum — banging, screeching, or grinding usually points to a loose part or failing motor.
If some rooms stay hot or cold no matter what the thermostat says, the system may be struggling to distribute air evenly.
A system working harder than it should to hit the same temperature shows up directly on your utility bill.
Short cycling puts extra wear on the compressor and shortens the system's overall lifespan.
A burning smell should never be ignored — it can indicate an electrical issue that needs immediate attention.
We'll always tell you honestly when a repair is the better call versus when it isn't.
We explain diagnostic fees and repair estimates before authorizing work.

A snapshot of the feedback that keeps us accountable.
"Our AC quit on the hottest weekend of the year and they had a tech out within a couple of hours. Fixed on the first visit and explained everything in terms I could actually understand."
"Scheduled a fall tune-up and they caught a cracked part before it became a real problem. You can tell these guys actually know what they're doing."
"Explained the sizing calculation so I understood why they weren't just installing the same unit again. Would recommend to anyone in Berwyn needing a real replacement, not a patch job."
"As a property manager, having a company that actually answers after-hours calls is rare. Now our go-to for every property in the portfolio."
"I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a bigger unit than I needed. Installation crew was in and out in a day and left the space cleaner than they found it."
"The tech walked me through what he was checking as he went, which I really appreciated. Genuinely relieved to have found a crew that answers when it matters."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Berwyn's seasonal swings.
Berwyn's seasonal swings put real stress on a system that isn't maintained regularly. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Simple habits between professional visits also matter. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Our technicians train across the major residential and commercial equipment lines, so you're not limited to a single brand's service network. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
We don't outsource dispatch to a call center that's never met our technicians.
